Kathleen will meet you where you are.
A Registered Social Worker and an energy practitioner in one room. Unhurried, trauma-informed, and hard to surprise. Nothing has to be tidied up first.
Ten years, then eight, then this.
Kathleen took her social work degree at the University of Calgary and spent nearly ten years with children, youth and families.
Then she changed direction. She trained as a Montessori teacher, taught preschool for more than eight years, and in 2019 opened her own classroom in Langdon.
In 2020 she took her first Holy Fire Reiki class, and kept going — Usui Reiki Master, Holy Fire III Master, angelic practitioner, shamanic training. Then the Egg.
After several years away she felt called back to social work and re-registered. She opened the centre so both could be in the same room, and in an Egg session she draws on both.
Why the letters matter.
Most people offering energy work are not regulated by anyone. Kathleen is. She answers to the Alberta College of Social Workers, she holds a protected title, and she works from a trauma-informed practice.
It also means your benefits may pay for this.

About benefits.
Kathleen is a Registered Social Worker, so sessions with her may be claimable if your plan covers social work. Every plan is different. Ask her and she will help you look before you book.
Breaking Free Foundation.
Kathleen is a registered practitioner with the Breaking Free Foundation, the Alberta charity started out of Theoren Fleury’s Victor Walk. If you have been through trauma, they offer grants of $750 toward treatment, paid straight to the practitioner. You can apply through them directly.
Questions people ask first.
If yours is not here, phone her. She would rather answer it before you book than after.
How long is a session?
Fifty minutes inside the Egg — forty minutes of music, then ten minutes of silence. Your booking is longer than that, because there is time to talk before you go in and time to settle afterwards.
How many will I need?
Some people notice something after one. Most find it takes three to ten, depending on what they came in with. Kathleen will be straight with you about which you are likely to be.
Can anyone use the Egg?
Yes. All ages are welcome, including pregnant women, babies, children and the elderly. Nothing touches you and you stay dressed.
Is there anything to avoid afterwards?
Give it five to seven days before other bodywork — chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, Reiki, cranial-sacral, osteopathy. The session keeps working in that window, and stacking modalities makes it harder to tell what did what.
What music is played?
Only specific pieces. Some were made for the Egg; others were chosen by Gail Lynn, who invented it, for particular purposes. Kathleen picks the music and the colour for you after you have talked, so no two sessions are quite the same.
Do you guarantee results?
No. The Harmonic Egg® is not a medical device and no one here will promise you an outcome. Everybody arrives with something different and leaves at their own pace.
